I thought it would be nice if people could let us know the expierences they had when ordering from different places. I do A LOT of online ordering, because I am a compulsive shopper - hee hee. Anyway, I have bought things from a lot of sites recently while getting ready for Tex. Most of the sites have been great :D

:) G.W. Little - Wonderful! They are located in Ca and I am in Fl and I always get my orders within a week from them. They are a little pricey, but I love the harnesses they carry. They are velcro and suede so they are extra comfortable and easy to put on. And they send me little gifts with my orders, like picture frames, a dog pin and a little bone charm for Tex's collar.

:) Heart of My Pet Boutique - They were really fast with my order, had no problems at all. Prices are pretty good too.

:) Glamour Dog - Also Wonderful. My order arrived in a week. Some of the items are high priced, but they carry a wide range.

:) The Gilded Paw Dog Boutique - They sent my order very quickly - took about 2 or 3 days, they also sent gifts with the order and a hand written thank you note, then later sent a Christmas card, which I thought was really nice.

:) Dog.com - they were super quick also and the shipping was free, which was nice because I ordered a playpen and it was kind of heavy.

:( Hands and paws - This was the only place I have had a problem with. It took them a month and a half to send the order that said it would be shipped in 3 weeks. Then I emailed them and asked if it would be here before Christmas because I ordered stuff the week before Thanksgiving. They said sure and it still hasn't gotten here. Pretty dissapointing. (wasn't special order items either, just some teethers, a t-shirt and a carrying bag) The prices were really good on things though, so I guess if time doesn't matter......

I agree!!! Hands and Paws was horable...I won't ever buy anything there. When I emailed them it had been 6 weeks since I made my order and then they got rude with me when I inquired about it. It's too bad...they have cute stuff and good pricing.:(

Yeah, I placed my order on the 11th of November and it just shipped yesterday. When I asked them if they could cancel it they told me that it was in the "shipping queue" and they had no way of knowing which box it was. So it kinda makes me wonder how they know which box to send where if they can't pull mine. The funny thing is they day before they told me they didn't have the merchandise in yet. That is why I asked to cancel the order. Guess they don't get much repeat business. Oh well.

I usually do alot of business with PawPalaceOnline.com. They have the cutest new shoes. It's a bit pricey but the shipping and the customer service is so good and they usually send a free gift if the item has been back ordered.

I'll have to check them out. How does your Chi like wearing shoes? Tex is only 8 weeks old, but I would like to get him used to it. Maybe in a few weeks.....

Ginger and Jacob both like wearing shoes...it's the cutest thing watching them walk around. They first "high-step" their back legs and it's the most hilarious thing ever. Ginger is use to them now so she's like "Nascar Nellie" in them. She flies around running and prancing. Now...Jacob...well let's just say he is 13 weeks old and full of "little boy" attitude and thinking he's a Rottweiler when he's dressed up.

awwwww - sounds adorable. I will have to try them out on my little one and see what he thinks. He has been pretty tolerant of clothes and his harness. We shall see......:D

remember...when he is getting use to them, just keep them on for about 20 minutes at a time. Gradually work his way up to wearing them for an all day shopping spree... =)
