Hi. My name is Mireya and I'm hopefully going to be a new Chi owner in a few months...I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that the female Chi got pregnant last week. I have been looking for a Chi for almost two years now and I feel that I've researched everything about them. I even bought Chihuahuas for Dummies! :D I've even started looking at clothes and carriers and other things that I'll need when that time comes to bring the little baby home. I wanted to ask a question: I know Chis and other small breeds tend to have issues with hypoglycemia, so it is safe to put a little sugar in the Chi's drinking water until they're 6 months? I just want to make sure because a breeder suggested giving them sugar water to drink. Thanks and all of your babies are absolutely adorable.
