The Color Violet?

I went to look at a Chihuahua puppy yesterday.....the color of the puppy was a color i have never seen before.....The sellers said her color was called a Violet....and said that it was a very rare color....Has anyone heard of that color for a Chihuahua?
My husband and i just thought she looked like a blue color...

Wow I have never heard of that either! Did you try googling it and seeing if there were any others like that out there? Boy I wish I could see a picture of one, very interesting!:confused:

I tried to find a picture on line that looked close to her color. But had no luck. We are going to pick her up Saturday. After i get her settled in i will take a picture of her and post it. I hope her color shows up in the picture. I think she's more like a blue with tan feet.

Ive never heard of violet but Im no breeder so who knows?:p . What you are descibing sounds similar to a blue fawn. They are a more rare coloration I have been told.

I cant wait to see a pic.
