So what is new since your last post? How is your chihuahua or your chi's family doing?

As for me and Tink, Its pretty much the same old thing around here:D . Except Tinkerbell's about to have a Birthday!!! She will be 2 years old:p YAY!!

Here is a story.
I work at a bank an one of our regular customers loves animals. She is an interior designer so she works for a lot of wealthy people. A few weeks ago she came to the bank and told us the story about this doctor's Mom. They have a 2 pound Chihuahua full grown, and one day as she was entering the house she saw how the old lady was kicking the little Chi and the poor dog when to the our friend like looking for help, so the lady who doesn't speak english told our friend to leave and not to protect the Chi, then the old lady grabs the dog and starts hitting her with a cane and she hit the dog so bad that our friend had to take the dog to the vet because the dog started screaming. She took the dog to the vet and called the doctor and told him what ahd happened and the doctor told her that that is the way his Mom treats the dog and that since he is not there all day he can't tell anything to her, plus is his Mom and he can't tell her waht to do. My friend was so frustrated and she took the dog to her house and told the doctor that whenever he had a chance to pick up the dog this one was going to be at her house. Late that night doc picked up the Chi and she told him she wasn't going to work for him if his Mom was going to treast the dog that way. Well, she didn't go back to the house.
Last saturday, she stopped by the bank and she asked if we knew someone who wants a Chihuahua, because the doctor called her and told her if she could take the dog. HE realized that his Mom is not an animal person and he wants to find a good home for the Chi, so he is going to give it to her and she would love to keep the dog but she has a140lbs pitbull and she is afraid her dog would get jealous.
I told her that whe whouldn';t had said that because althought we are not looking for a dog, after hearing the story about poor Kiki( that is the name of the doggie)I would probably take her. Well, Monday night my in laws had to put to sleep one of their dogs and she asked me about the Chi(my husband told her the story)and she told me that she want s the Chi.NOw, I need to talk to our friend and see when she is going to get Kiki so I can give it to my in laws.
I would love to adopt Kiki but, we lost Oscar, our yorkie a few months ago and we are not ready yet, plus I would love another yorkie when is time for us. The deed restrictions in our neighborhood are 2 dogs and 2cats.
I hope that we can get the Chi so that way when we go see my in laws Chiki and Kiki can play togheter.:p

that story irks me....great, now im irked...

O.P.'s been acting very lovely lately...he usually acts like he's to good to be near people, and when he does want to petted, you get the distinct feeling he's LETTING you pet him. but lately, he's been cuddly, and wanting to give kisses all the time, and just generally not O.P. weird, huh??
