Welcome to ChihuahuaTalk! Since Ariel is only two months old, it is possible that the ears aren't yet up. You can try to massage them, or even tape them to make them stand up. Teacup is sometimes used to describe very small Chi's, though the teacup chi is not recognized by any registry.
From Wikipedia:
"Teacup" and "Deer-faced" Chihuahuas
In recent years there has been an increase in the use of the terms "teacup" (or tea cup) and "deer" (or deer-faced) to describe Chihuahuas.
Along with "mini" and "tiny toy", "teacup" is sometimes used to describe Chihuahuas and other dogs that are very small.
These and similar terms are not officially used by any kennel club or reputable breeder, and are not breeds. Chihuahuas naturally vary in size, and very small Chihuahuas are often runts, unhealthy, or undernourished, or, if otherwise healthy, may have shortened life spans and other health problems due to extreme dwarfing. They are not normally suitable for breeding, and may require special care. Some breeders of small Chihuahuas increase the prices of the Chihuahuas, arguing that the smaller they are, the more they are worth. Most reputable breeders strongly disagree both with the pricing and with the breeding for smaller animals. "Deer" or "deer-faced" are terms that are sometimes used to describe Chihuahuas that do not have the breed-standard apple-domed appearance. These terms are also unofficial and have no real meaning.

Hi and welcome! I just saw your post! My Chili when I got him at 3 months, the tips of his ears were still floppy because he was teething but within a week or so, they were standing tall! Your baby is so young that I'm sure the ears will stand up soon! Chili was 1 pound when I got him too, and he is 9 months old now and weighs in at a whopping 3.5 pounds.. He may be a little more, I haven't weighed him in a while. And as for sleeping alot, puppies like babies need alot of sleep to grow and function properly. Pretty soon, as she gets older she'll be alot more playful.

Hi there! My Baby Ariel is almost 3 months old and her ears..changes its shapes everyday....funny.:) I wouldn't say shes a teacup just abit smaller than the normal size chihuahuas. I am not obsessed wit way she should look but the breeder said its a teacup and its of a good quality.Anyway shes pretty looks like bambi from Walt Disneyer food ?I fed her eukanuba and bijac but this friend of mine trying to turn Ariel a vegetarian animal....is it a good idea?

Firstly, I would like to let you know, that the term Teacup is incorrect as that is not a type of Chi. Your Chi maybe be small but that's the only term that is really acceptable. As for converting your pup to vegetarian, I don't think that is a very good idea. Dogs by nature are carnivores and need the meat in their diets. That's the way they have always been. I know some people strongly believe that because they eat a vegetarian diet that their animals should too. Now don't get me wrong. If you planned your animal's diet correctly I'm sure it could be done. But that takes alot of hard work and constant maintence, to make sure your dog is thriving as well as it should. My advice is to keep your Chi on a regular diet of good quality puppy food, which includes animal meats and fats.
Right now I feed my baby Royal Canin 33 for mini breeds. She is doing very well on it. I've also heard good things about Eagle Pack, and Innovo Evo. Good luck.
