I just liked the name tinkerbell. I dont really know why. And NO it had nothing to do with paris's dog. I didnt even know she had a dog named tinkerbell when I got my tinkerbell. I just liked the name and it seemed very fitting for my dainty little girl.

We just got Trixie and her owners had named her that and being 2 years old we didn't want to change it. I absolutely love it though and it fits her well.:D

O.P.'s name got picked out before O.P. was even born. I'd wanted a chi for almost 9 years, but had to wait until i moved out from under parental rule before i could get him. I had everything all ready for him, his name, his vet all lined up, and his collar, and THEN i found O.P. since he is so big, the Optimus Prime, that his name stands for fits him very well, that and when he gets mad, he transforms into a 60 ft. robot...or just wishes he can.

Well, Melly got her name when I was helping pick out a name for my cusins new dog, but she did not like it, but I fell in love with it. So when I got my new Chi, I had to use it. But I later found out that the name was also used in one of my favoirte movies, Gone With The Wind, which was short for Melanie. So now her name is Melly Jean. I hope that everybody is following this, it is kind of hard to explain when it is not in person.

Chimi got his name from my son asking me why I got a chimichanga dog..... (whatever...)
and Cole is black, and hubby bought him for me for Christmas, so he's my "little lump of coal for Christmas)!
LOL!

Having two male Chihuahuas it was an easy matter for me to come up with names. We ended up with Poncho and Cisco but I considered Bert & Ernie, Don & Juan, Ralph and Larry ( I think that Ralph is a great name for a dog i.e. "come here Ralllllllph"). or maybe Ciskle and Ebert . hahahaha

Names are so personal and can be derived from so many sources such as charateristics of your .

Most of my dogs had their names picked out already.

Wizard is named after his dad.

Angel has wing shaped spots as a tiny pup.

Whimsy is so cute and has different colored tiny spots all over her.

Gidget I named a short form of girl midget. She turned out to be a huge 10 pounds! LOL
