View Full Version : Has Your CHI ever Had this ???????

I wanted to ask if your chi ever had this? I took him to the vet some time ago and was told it was a button cell tumor (non-M) it has gone away but it has left this perfect round circle of loss hair? :confused:

No I have never had anything like that on tink, nor have I heard of it. It looks like it hurt:(

Did the vet say how he got it?

Im not sure if the hair will grow back? I have never seen one of these or heard of it and thought maybe it was something that chi's get? I have only been momma to yorkies * Maltese and I just wasn't sure, but it was sore! at first I thought his little sweater might have rubbed him raw, but the vet it said it is common?? to who:p

huh...that's interesting, I've never seen nor heard of those before. Ill have to ask the doctors at work about that.....

Thank you! that would be alot of help, my vet really didn't give me to much info on a button cell tumor, like why do they get them? what are they caused from?
she did tell me they were not contagious, I was worried that it might have been:confused:

i meant to ask last night, but we got kinda busy, and the doctor was gettin stressed....but i will ask soon...

Ooo that is sad, but I am glad that ur CHI is better. I have never heard or seen it before.

Any update? Did you get a second opinion? Just wondering if it went away and grew back the fur!
