Hi everyone!
I am looking to buy my 9months old chihuahua boy a new collar.
I've been looking at alot of different one and I wanted to get some suggestions from you guys. please keep in mind, i have a long hair chihuahua so a lot of the design may not be seen once he wears it.

Any suggestions?

I went to WalMart last night and got my chi loads of different things.
What I found that I REALLY loved were harnesses that kinda looked like clothes. Hers is leopard print with a bow on it and a d-ring for the leash/tags. Harnesses are suppsed to be better for chis, so I would go with one of those!

i have that prob too. my chi has a verrryyyy fluffy neck.. i bought her so many pretty collars including a pink n clear crystal one that just hides underneath her fur lol

Your Better off with a harness since Chihuahua's have sensitive trachea.

My pup has a nice little magenta suede cat collar- fits perfectly- and has a bell so that I always know where she is and no-one treads on her! She also has a plain black harness for walks and for going in the car- I live in Australia, and I bought mine on the RSPCA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) website... but I think it's pretty standard. The best thing about it is that it has a loop in it that you can put the seatbelt through- so puppy can sit happily on the passengers seat next to me when I drive- and I know she's safely restrained without needing a cage or anything. My dog is long haired, too... you really can't see the collar at all... unfortunately!

right guys looking for a quality dog training collar set up please no import cheapies canicom would be good but will consider others why?

my chihuahua chloe has a black and pink bow collar it is really cute and she loves it!
it looks so good on her.i got it at petsmart!chloe my chihuahua wont let me buy her another one cause she loves that collar sooooo much.if i take it off of her she has a fit!!she is sooo funny!!!LOL!!:):p
