and had been researching chihuahuas, cause I really never knew that they could be as large as my Chimi.
I would say he weighs a good 15 pounds,and I all I had seen were the ones that were 6-7 pounds at the largest.
I thought for sure he was mixed with something else.
But thanks to this website and the knowledge that you all have, I have finally found my answer. My Chimi is a Chihuahua, through and through. He's just a big boy!:rolleyes:
He was a rescue that I fell in love with as soon as I saw him. I had to wait three days to take him home, cause he was a new pickup (and the dog warden had to try and find his owner), but I took him snacks and would visit him for the three days we had to wait. We would go for walks around the building, then we would play and rest awhile, and by the time I would have to leave, we were both sad, but I explained that I would be back, and gave him a date and time so he would know.
After our three days were up, they knew what time I was coming, and had him bathed and ready for me. We have been inseparable ever since.
He was (is) definitely a God send, one that I will cherish forever!
