I need advice!

Hi,

I am a Chihuahua breeder and there is another breeder that has been spreading rumors about me and the quality of my dogs. She has said that my dogs are sick and dying, but she sold a pup that died shortly after selling it and refused to replace it.

All my pups are doing well in their new homes because I make sure to have all their shots done before they can go home. I take them to the vet for their shots and health checks, and micro chipping.

She is also telling folks that I have several complaints on file at animal control. This is another lie. What can I do to restore my good name? She is sending people to another breeder that charges over $1000 per pup, and makes sure that I cannot sell to the members of the group we are a part of.

I guess I can get a print out from Animal control, but I do not know what else to do.

Any suggestions?

Oh my goodness I am sorry this person has to stoop so low to try and hurt you. The only thing I can tell you is to just keep doing what your doing, eventually the rumors will fade and people will realize that this person is just mean spirited and wrong!! It makes me sad that she is doing this to you and putting a bad mark on the whole Chihuahua society. Anyone that has bought pups from you should come forward and tell others that they have healthy chi's, if she is a breeder and selling pups that are sick she should be reported anyway. Hang in there and once again I am so sorry you have to deal with this nonsense...

Thanks, it's amazing that we did sit and email back and forth and got it all cleared up! I am so happy as it was all a big mess from an incident that happened nearly a year ago.

I hope that we will continue to work on things and can soon put all this behind us.
