What is it???

i have heard that its the shape of the head and it isnt a normal size

is it dangerous having it or any disadvanages to it

also is there any pictures you guys could show me

my boy has a apple head and it is normal for show dogs.

I have a Apple head chi, it's just the type they are, no dangers....just cute little heads that look like apples :)

Hi! From what I have read, appleheaded chihuahuas are more common/popular in the U.S. I used to belong to a forum that had primarily members from England/Scotland, etc., and they all seemed to have the shorter nose chi's there...
When I joined a forum in the U.S. it seemed so strange, because everyone had a chi like mine! I was relieved, cause it was our first chihuahua, and I thought I had an inferior dog....since then, I have read they are all acceptable no matter what...seems to be quite a few varieties. I ADORE my sweet sweet puppy....
I recommend reading the great books out there on the chihuahua breed ...I bought a few and am glad I did.

what chi forum is it i am looking for one in the uk but havent found no look :(

i see what you mean about longer snouts in the US

since appleheads are for show then it would suprize me because my chi is from a good breeder line even though a rescue

i know his history a bit because it was from my friends mum who HAd to get rid of him :(
