Is it too cold?

Here in Indiana, we've had some pretty frigid weather lately. What I need to know is, is it too cold to walk Cole? He has a nice warm sweater, but yet he only weighs 3 lbs 14 oz. I don't want him sick, or too cold.

What are some guidelines for weather and walking my baby?

Chihuahuas love warmth and enjoy sun bathing. Temperatures below 30 / 35 degrees are not very comfortable for them. You should use woollens for you Chihuahua if you want to take it outside at temperatures 30 / 35 degrees.

Indiana is pretty cold now. I would not take my Chi out in this weather.

You can keep a potty pad near the door so that they have somewhere to go during the frigid weather.
