Did you find it hard to toilet train your Chi?

Just wondering did you find it harder to toillet train your chi?.. i find chi's are harder to do than other breeds..mybe i am wrong just a see alot of people asking for help to help train there chi..

Yes I think its little bit harder to give potty training to chi. I wouldn't expect my chi to hold it for so long, She has a pad for days, but is let out in the morning and twice in the evening. I always try to encourage her to go outside. So that it helps to stop the pad becoming too full. I have to change the pads every3-4 days, as chi's don't like to step in it to go, and will pick a new place if it's too dirty.

Chihuahua's are no harder to potty train than any other breed in my opinion. It depends on the individual dog. My present chi was very easy to train but my previous chi wasn't. If you go to other dog forums for other breeds and even general dog forums you'll see that potty training is a much asked question.

First potty pads- No, took right up to them.
Second- outside, again no probs. Lord helped him
take right up to that also. Thou I have had one Chi.
who would use potty pads well, but if had the chance
would rather do buisness on carpet.

So hard! It's been 2 years and she will still sneak away into the dining room on occassion! It's embarassing and frustrating.
