G'day, I am new here too...

I have a question please..... My 10 week old Chihuahua is gorgeous, and the question is........

Do I need to give him some milk product that you buy from pet shops??

He is the third Chihuahua I have had over the years and I have never given the others this product, didn't even knew it existed.... The owner where I got him said it is important in their health at this moment, but I can't see anything in the books that I have read about this either...

I was also told by a pet shop owner that the very best way feeding-wise is to put him on dried food, and only dried food, that this would make it easier too for cleaning up their mistakes as it is drier...!!!.... I am not at all sure about this, at it doesn't seem good for them...

My last two dogs lived happy and healthy with meat and veg, and bones....Both into their 15th year too...

I never give my chis milk unless its a treat but allways water :) whatever best for your chi i suppose, i give my chi dry compleat food everyday and a half a little pouch of dog food every to day... because mines can take it or leave it..but some chi's can be like that..:)
