My chi is almost 5 months old and gets really bad separation anxiety whenever I leave her. Putting her in the crate is torture for ME!! I throw a piece of chicken jerky in and she runs after it and then i close the door and the crying begins. I feel like the worst mommy ever! Does anyone else have this problem. I'm not sure what to do. And on top of it all she is the only one crated right now since she is the only baby. My mom has a long haired chi and we have my sisters short haired chi and my grandmom also has 1 and a 75lb mutt, they all run around all day while she is in a black metal crate watching them. Any ideas about how to get her to relax?? I really don't want to put her on any meds.:confused:
