Never mind the fact that the website gives you a headache. The "breeder" does not allow anyone to meet the pups prior to purchase and basically what happens is that you pay a deposit, then you pick up the puppy at a specified location (not his house). They are also registered with the D.R.A. Totally sketchy. Also, another poster on another Chi forum that I'm on mentioned that her puppy had a grade 3 heart murmur and tried to contact the breeder about it to no avail. Fortunately for those of you down in the good old U.S. of A don't have to worry about it, but just in case there are any other Canadians on here I'd like to give them a heads up.

I googled the DRA and it's the Dog Registry of America "formerly known as US Kennel Club, Inc." Ummm ok.

That is the first time I have ever heard of that registry. They come up with anything now a days...

For sure! There were some people in our area that got taken in by the Nigerian scams, ended up sending money and getting no puppy :( People are awful to take somebody's hopes of wanting a new puppy to love and dashing them like that.:mad:
