OK so you all are probably getting sick of me asking all these questions but..I was told not to let my chi sleep in bed with me, it's dangerous. But I can't stand the thought of him all alone in his crate in the living room!! What should I do?

I know how you feel. Melly slept in her crate for six months. Its better because they are so tiny they can easily get hurt if they fall off the bed or even try to jump off. But now Melly is seven months, and I have pillows stacked at the bottom of my bed for her to get down if she wants to, so she sleeps with me now. I hope that I am not being to confusing. I hope that this helps you.

Well tinks has been sleeping with me for over a year and a half now so I say go for it. You'd be surprised how aware of them you are while sleeping. Tink even insists on sleeping under the covers down towards my feet (dangerous territory in my opinion:rolleyes: ). But she does fine and keeps my toes warm:p

LOL :) I wish I could get Trixie to sleep somewhere else sometimes but she is really spoiled to being in bed with us. She will stand at the side of the bed and bark until we put her in bed with us. She is so little that I was nervous at first that we would hurt her but she is really good about moving out of the way if we turn over or anything. You really will be more aware of her than you think if you let her sleep with you!

Chikis has slept with us since he was a puppy. Althought I move a lot while sleeping, It doensn't bother him at all. He moves on my husbands side of the bed and keeps sleeping.
